Invitation to participate
Dear Colleague
We very much hope you will wish to participate in the next UK National External Quality Assessment Service (UK NEQAS) Endocrinology and Immunoassay Participants' Meeting, which will take place at the Edinburgh Conference Centre, Heriot Watt University, from 24th to 26th September 2012.
EQAS 2012 will focus on leading edge clinical and analytical science as well as EQA performance of many of the analytes covered by the UK NEQAS for steroid, thyroid & peptide hormones, tumour & cardiac markers and antenatal screening.
The UK NEQAS centres in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Guildford have assembled an exciting Scientific Programme that we hope is relevant to all clinical and scientific staff working in these areas of laboratory medicine. Submission of abstracts for poster presentation is welcomed. An attractive Social Programme is also being arranged.
We are delighted that a number of diagnostic companies are sponsoring and supporting the meeting scientifically, with several lunchtime workshops planned and ample opportunity to discuss issues of interest with delegates from these companies during the meeting. EQAS 2012 is fully accredited for CPD schemes of the Royal College of Pathologists and the Institute of Biomedical Science.
Registration for delegates is now available online. Early registration is strongly advised as we have limited accomodation onsite.
